Hi. I'm Dr. Ross Greene. I'm a child psychologist and the author of a few well known books, especially The Explosive Child and Lost at School. I'm also a researcher, a consultant, I spend a great deal of time traveling all over the world trying to help people understand and help behaviorally challenging kids and helping them get good at the model I originated called collaborative and proactive solutions. I live in Portland, Maine with my wife and two kids. They are 13 and 16 years old. And our year old dog Sandy, who's just like one of the kids. When I am not working I am frequently out on one of the lakes in Maine either in my old Bowrider or on the used jet ski that we bought this summer just trying to get into the outdoors and trying to soak up all of the natural beauty that Maine has to offer. If I'm not on the water, I'm hiking some mountain so that I can get a good view of the water.
