Jim Iyke, fully named James Ikechukwu Esomugha, is an award-winning Nollywood actor and musician.
He was given birth on the 25th of September, in Libreville, Gabon to Mr and Mrs Stephen Okolue who later changed names to Esomugha when they arrived at Ogwugwu Village in Enugu Agidi town of Anambra State, Nigeria.
He is the only son of his parents among children of eight.
Although no exact information as regards where he had his elementary education is known, he attended Federal Government College, Kwali, Abuja for his secondary education and afterwards proceeded to the University of Jos in Plateau state where he took a diploma in banking and finance and later bagged a BSc in Philosophy from the same university.
