Blink and you might miss ONE LIFE TO LIVE actor Jason-Shane Scott (Will) in the new Netflix movie, Fatal Affair! “I’m sort of the Drew Barrymore Scream character for the opening scene and I meet a quick demise,” he confided to Soaps In Depth, “but it sets up the whole story. It’s brief but crucial.”
The film stars Nia Long (Kat, GUIDING LIGHT), who Scott admitted he didn’t realize was a fellow soap alum. “Carolyn Hennesy I knew of from GENERAL HOSPITAL when I saw her name in the cast [list],” he said. “But yeah, it was one of those roles where I’m kind of in for the day and I just met the other actress I was working with, KJ Smith.”
Naturally, Fatal Affair was shot well before Hollywood shut down temporarily due to the COVID pandemic. But even though acting opportunities became scarce, Scott was very busy during quarantine. “I’m very fortunate,” he revealed. “I’ve been writing for a couple of years so I’ve written several movies in the thriller genre that have gotten made now.
